Corporate & Commercial
Cameron Adderley is a Partner and the Group Team Leader of the Corporate Finance team. He has worked extensively on international telecommunications projects utilising Bermuda special purpose vehicles and in particular, the structuring of joint ventures and financing transactions, including syndicated bank lending and private placements. Cameron has also advised in relation to Bermuda telecommunications regulations.
In 2009 IFLR100 named Cameron as a leading Lawyer in the Financial and Corporate category. In 2007, Chambers and Global described Cameron as having received, “‘Warm feedback for his telecoms and IP work”. “He’s co-operative, thorough and always wants to get the deal done’ ”. Chambers Global has ranked Cameron in 2007 as a Leading Individual for Corporate/ Commercial.
Cameron first joined the group as an Associate in 1997. After working in-house as Senior Attorney for Global Crossing, he returned to Appleby in August 1998. He became a Partner in April 2001.
Cameron graduated from the University of Bristol with an LLB (Hons) degree in 1989 and attended the College of Law, Guildford. He undertook his training with the London firm of Solicitors, Simmons & Simmons, practicing as a solicitor in their London office from qualification until 1995, where he was seconded to the Financial Law Panel.
Cameron is a member of the Bermuda International Business Association's Legislative Change Committee, the voluntary committee that considers legislative reform.
